Have managed to lose the 2 designs I had done for my new baby cousins.  I had gotten all the trimmings to put them together and stuff them as ornaments and now cannot find the original designs.  Have to start all over and they will have them for next year but I am really mad at myself for not keeping up with them.  Have cleaned my room and organized all my stash trying to find them and no luck.  So upset.  Ah, well, will just make new ones.  One of the originals was really complicated and an intricate design but new one will be simpler because just don't have it in me to do another complicated one.  Will post pictures when I am farther along.

Have been in  on crafting for past few weeks.  Tuesday, I did put in some stitches  angel stocking. Made a huge mistake so had to frog and start over from the beginning.  Posting picture here of current progress.  Work slowed down on November 20th and did not have anything for couple of weeks.  So far have had one day last week and 2 days this week and will have one day next week.  Hopefully after the holidays it will pick up again.

Hope to use some of my free time to work on projects.  Need to finish 1 ornament and stitch and stuff another one so hopefully I can get them in the mail.

Haven't really worked on much for last few weeks.  Started new job with weird hours so haven't had much crafting time.  Hope to get few more Christmas card designs done in next few weeks--willjust have to carve out time to do it.  Also, had to order new fabric for Joan Elliott stocking kit because think I started it wrong and fabric not big enough.  Hope to restart that soon with my new fabric.  Will post some more pictures in couple weeks.  Hopefully by then I will have finished something.  Have finished a red scarf but have to put fringe on it before I post picture.

ve changed fabric for Christmas card designs.  Now doing them on white and some on oatmeal.  Doing them out of Leisure Arts book.  Some from page shown and some from other pages in same book.

Added the fringe to my first finished scarf.  Think it looks pretty good.  Have attached picture.

Finished a design for Christmas cards on dark red fabric.  Not happy with how it looks on that fabric.  Will do rest on white or ivory.  Will save the small red and green fabric already cut off for something else.  Live and Learn.  At least I have plenty of white fabric.

Finished my 2nd crocheted scarf.  First one I am keeping for me but may try to sell this one.  Only have to put fringe on it and it will be done.  Will post picture after I have finished the fringe.

Have finished the stitching part of Olivia's present.  Now just have to decide how I am going to finish it off.  Still have to finish Baby's and First on Matthew's and then again decide how to finish it.  So glad to have these 2 almost done.  Will investigate finishing items next month.

Want to start on some more Christmas card designs.  Have only done a small train design and it was not centered properly so not even sure I am going to use it.

Am currently working on Baby's First Christmas from Leisure Arts 250 Christmas Quickies book.  Have made a fair bit of progress.  Will post updated picture and pictures of Angel Stocking I am also working on tomorrow.  Will post picture of Baby's First Christmas.  I have a new cousin who is now a month old.  Trying to get Baby's First Christmas and then will try to get the stocking done for this Christmas.

Got a new tablet and have found it hard to take pictures with it.  Am posting pictures of Counted Cross Stitch Stocking Kit by Design Works.  Posting design and what mine looks like so far.

Have started a new project.  Am making a angel stocking for my newest cousin. Will post pictures soon.  Have also completed 1 Christmas design for my Christmas cards but it is not centered so not sure if I am going to use it or not.

Tomorrow starts my vacation.  James and I are off to hotel and then to DC Monday for sightseeing.  My sister has suggested I start making afghans in team colors and sell them.  Think this is great idea and may pick up some yarn tomorrow.  Have done one Xmas card design on dark green fabric and will be starting more tomorrow.

I am going on vacation on 17th of July through the 20th.  I will be returning to work on the 21st.  I hope to get some stitching done on my vacation.  I have done 1 xmas design so far and working on another.  Have cut up my hunter green 14 count aida fabric to do some xmas card designs on.  Just have to choose the designs and make sure I have the threads I need.  Plan to go to In Stitches in Alexandria, VA while on vacation and get fabric to do a stocking for my new baby cousin who was born July 8th.  Have all the threads from a stocking kit but need fabric because I ripped the fabric that came with the kit and messed it up so have to get new fabric.  Hope I can find what I am looking for.  Also hope to make a xmas ornament for my new cousin and another cousin that was born yesterday or will be here today.

I plan to take my xmas designs with me on vacation and work on them sunday night and then will work on them some more on the other days of my vacation at home.  Would like to get some scrapbooking done too on my birthday but not sure if it will happen or not.  /Am working on scrapbook for my daughters and woujld like to have them finished by October in time for their birthdays.

May try to work on my Benji Tiger Kit while on vacation too.  Have no mojo for this project but know it will be beautiful when done so really need to put some stitches in it.

Attached is a picture of the afghan I recently finished.  I call it my crazy afghan because I did not finish every color at the end of a row.  I have given the afghan to my mom for her bed.  My sister wants an afghan in navy blue and white so will have to do some yarn shopping soon.

Finished my crazy afghan a few days ago.  Hope to post a picture tomorrow.  Have given it to my mom to replace the one she has that is about 30 years old and falling apart.  She doesn't need it now because its summer here but it will be great for her this fall and winter.

As for other projects, have done very little on Benji Tiger Kit.  I have, however, done one Christmas card design and started on a second one.  Hope to get 4 Christmas card designs done on red and 4 on green.  Messed up when I cut the red fabric so may have to order more.  Am doing pretty small designs on the red so hope they will work with the cards I got at Michaels.  Need to get the double sided tape tho to do the cards.

Will probably do some stitching on the card designs tomorrow since I am off.  Need to get some motivation to work on the Benji Tiger Kit but haven't had any yet.

Hope to do some stitching this weekend.  I have started my tiger design but haven't done any stitching in about 2 weeks.  Have been mostly crocheting.  Hope to get some stitching done this weekend.  Maybe tomorrow night I can work on my tiger design.  Would love to get more done on it.  Just a matter of motivation.  Have to put the crocheting aside so can do some stitching.

I finally finished my sons afghan last night.  I am so glad to get it done.  Am working now on my crazy afghan.  I call it that because I am not ending at the end of a row and it is lots of different colors.  I have some multicolored yarn and solid yarn with the crazy afghan.

A friend of mine that is in a yahoo group witwith me has a craft blog and she sets yearly goals on her blog.  She has inspired me to do the same.  Since I am just setting up this blog in the middle of the year I will set my goals for the rest of this year now.  Next January I will set goals for 2017.  My goals for the rest of 2016 are as follows:

1.  Finish Polar Santa Cross Stitch

2.  Make significant progress on Fairy Child Cross Stitch.

3.  Get 1/2 of Thomas Kinkade stamped Cross Stitch done.

4.  Make 4 Xmas cards with red fabric.

5.  Make 4 Xmas cards with green fabric.

That should give me a good goal list for the rest of the year.  If I can get these goals completed then next year maybe I can work some on Evergreen Plantation.
