Crystalscrafts: Tonight I have purchased some yarn from Joann's to...: Tonight I have purchased some yarn from Joann's to do a baby afghan for my sister's coworker who is having a baby.  I also bought 1 ...

Tonight I have purchased some yarn from Joann's to do a baby afghan for my sister's coworker who is having a baby.  I also bought 1 skein of Red Heart Smoothie Scrubby yarn in Nautical and 2 skeins of Premier Home Cotton in a blue variegated for 1.79 a skein.  I have attached pictures of the dishcloth and round scrubbies made with the Red Heart yarn in Nautical.  Also attached is a picture of the yarn for the Baby Afghan which is Premier Everday Baby Yarn in Frosty.  I have also pulled out my afghan in Red Heart Soft in Cherry Red and restarted it to fit my new double bed.  I also started a throw in Premier Yarn in Berry Burst which I have put aside for now.  I am currently working on my cotton yarn in red and a pink color from yarn from Knitpicks.  I have ordered some Red Heart Soft for my afghan and I also ordered some yarn from knitpicks to do more baby blankets which I may donate if I can find a local organization.  I have also picked up my stitching and have been doing some stitching on my Christmas design from TheCrossStitchStudio.com.  I will post a picture of my cross stitch when I have done more of the design.

I have removed my shop from etsy.com and have a shop on Facebook instead.  It is Cryscrafts on Facebook.  I have been working on the last few weeks on dishcloths and dishtowels. I hope to post pictures soon.  I have finished a Christmas present for a friend in the last few days but can't post a picture until after Christmas.  I have knitted some dishcloths with Lily Sugar and Cream yarn and need to get some more yarn to finish another one.  My sister also wants me to make some dishcloths and dishtowels for some of her co-workers and she will buy the yarn so should be busy with that the next few months.

I have done some more rows on my red afghan made with Red Heart Soft Yarn.  I have also been working on my son's afghan as well.  My stock has been organized and have some dishcloths that I need to order more yarn to finish.

Are you working on anything lately?  Are you doing any homemade Christmas presents?

Have set up a shop on Etsy, CryscraftsTreasures.  Check out my site on Etsy.  Have just found a pattern for face scrubbies and have made 1 so far.  Will include picture at bottom.  Going to look for an easy croheted shawl pattern so can make shawls.

Things I have been working on the past few weeks.  A throw, a knitted dishcloth, a scarf, an Afghan for my son in Baltimore Raven colors, a cross stitch near project, a Christmas cotton dishcloth.

Finished my cross stitch bookmark.  Have started a new project on hand dyed fabric from FabtasricFabrics on Etsy.  Her fabric is so reasonably priced.  Got some for a friend too.  Will post pic of WIP soon.

Have finished baby blanket except for blocking which I hope to do this Sunday.  Have also done a hat in cotton/polyester yarn which I think will be good for spring/fall.  Have done some dishcloths. Made a Lady Liberty cross stitch bookmark but have to do the backstitching.  The hat is done in yarn from cutratecutratecrafts.  The yellow washcloth is done with the statecraft yarn but don't like the yarn because splits too much.  The red and blue washcloths are done with knitpicks Richie yarn.  The baby blanket is done with Lion Brand Jamie yarn in summer stripes.
