I did not realize it had been so long since I posted.  Got a new job in October.  Have been doing a lot of crocheting and a little bit on hats.  Will post pictures here.

I have finished the crocheted throw.  No pattern, per we, just double crochet and chain 3 at end and turn.  Used a variety of solid and variegated yarn.  Thinking of making an afghan for my sister but have to find a good shade of yarn.  Picture of throw is attached.  I am on vacation this week so going to try to get my room straightened up and go thru project and yarn bags and get them organized.

July was a slow crafting month because I read 40 books instead.  I have, however, just finished a hat done with a lighter weight yarn.  This hat would be great for fall or spring because of the lighter weight yarn.  I have attached a picture here.  Now am going to work on my crocheted throw because I only have 14 rows left to do to finish it.

I have not done any crafting in quite a while.  Have mainly been reading.  I will attach pictures of newest hats.  Sent some of the hats to my daughters along with a crochet hook, a loom knitting hook and some yarn.  I need to pick up some yarn for my crocheted throw when I get paid.  I am currently at a stopping point on the throw until I get more yarn.  I have used some of my leftover yarn to make granny squares and will keep these until I have enough for a blanket.  Hope to get back to crafting this week when I am off.

New hats with sparkly yarn

Attached are pictures of the 2 new hats I have done with red and white sparkly yarn I got from JoAnn's Fabrics.  The pictures really don't show how beautiful these hats are.  They are gorgeous.

Update and test

Am going to try to see if I can get the blog posts to show up on facebook.  Have not done any stitching but mostly knitted loomed hats.  Have finished 2 hats and working on a third.  Hope to finish this 3rd hat so I can do some stitching.  Have been knitting and crocheting and not any stitching and really want to work on some of my stitching projects.
